If the person in UK trying to get their marrage partner is on disability or incapacity benifit does this prevent the success of their application. I read Public funds includes these benifits but its not clear that these individuals are being denied the right to apply or not?

Do disabled people really get discriminated against in this type of application?

Hello ukalan , as long as the person in the uk can show that he has savings, i mean 3000 or more pounds in his bank account, can provide accommodation, and as they can show genuine relationship the spouse from the Philippines can get visa even if the one in the uk is on dvla or incapacity benefit. Just show that even on these benefits, one can still manage and not rely on other more benefits.

quite right, they arent worried about what he is claiming now by right as long as he can satisfy them he can support you without resort to further claims for you.
