Hi everybody.
Could anyone give me some advice please.
I & my fiancee are going to apply for a british visa when I go to visit at Christmas, for the second time.
What sort of thing should I put in my supporting letter? Do I put just general stuff about how I would like to settle down with her in the uk & I will support her with housing etc or should I put in things like how we met & how much of our undying love we give each other etc.
How do I get round the problem of not having a wedding date? The local council wont give a confirmed date for a wedding untill we are both here & can go together . Are they understandable about how some councils wont give you a date ?
Also My fiancee would like to bring her daughter who is 12 years old over with her when she comes here which is only natural , I really cant expect her to leave her & I certainly do not want her too. But I only have a 1 bedroom flat. Obviously we will have to move into another house or flat with 2 bedrooms eventually. But would the application be refused if I havent moved before they come over or could we move after they get here as I dont want to have to move if the the application is refused & untill we are able to get a visa on appeal.
Also if the application is refused do we have to pay all the fees again when we appeal or reapply ? This will work out very expensive .
Thanks everyone for your help.
Alan.
