BTW Keith - regarding your 'Swearing' thread (which I cannot access/reply to) - are members allowed to say 'Chelsea?' - or is that going TOO far?

Al.:)

P.S. I await Dom's retribution
P.P.S. I promise that I won't mention 2000 coming up!
P.P.P.S. There is no P.P.P.S.

a number of years ago around Christmas time...

... and this Japanese department store had enthusiastically embraced the
Christian / Western ideals of Christmas

and had a large display of Santa, in his red & white cloak, and white beard

NAILED TO A CROSS !

Hi Alan,

Best wishes to you and yours from Peter and Gina, glad to hear you were downtown today at SM, as you know was not long ago, just on our way in from Davao, that Gina and I were in Starbucks in SM, sipping on a nice latte, whiling away the hours, as one does in the land of smiles.

Wishing we were with you there, and not here in Gordon 's politically correct gone mad standard Britain, we hope to see you there one day, but as for christmas carols, why not, its the Philippines right !, only they can do it at this time of year, remember world's longest christmas.

Again wish we were in SM with you, but as for now, I am sure we won't be there.

It's September, that's when it starts over there :icon_lol: have they not got the decorations up yet? ;)

I was a bit taken aback some years ago the first time I experienced this :D

I've spent the last 4 Christmas's there you get used to it. :)

You can always visit the Snow World room in Star City to get some atmosphere (although you will have to wait in queue several hundred people deep :)
