The emergence of DNA profiling in the mid-1980s has proved invaluable in the detection of numerous serious crimes over the intervening two decades since.

Tonight, at 9 o'clock on ITV, 'Real Crime' examines its role in solving the brutal murder of an 18-year-old model four years ago, and asks whether it should be made compulsory for EVERYONE in the UK to provide a DNA sample ... which would then be stored on a National Register.

What's YOUR verdict, folks?

Yep! Lets do it!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Every investigation is as only as reliable as the police that do the investigating though...sometimes Police themselves are guilty of murder, they get away with it tampering with evidence..:NoNo:

being as kids all have blood tests when they're born anyway I cant see that it would be that much hardship to have DNA stored for future use in both prsoecution and clearing of names in legal cases.
I'm all for it
