I am not sure if this has been discussed on the forum but here goes...

If i have read correctly if a filipino/british have a child outside the UK then the child is still entitled to become a British Citizen because of one of the parents being British.

Rhea & I were going to wait until the child was born here before moving to the Philippines because we originally thought this was the only way our child will get the citizenship. I really do not know much about it was if anyone knows can you confirm please.:Erm: :Erm:

most certainly.

it's only grandchilden that require application for a citizenship. (i.e. if your kids, want their kids to be 'british', its easier if your grandchildren are born in the UK).

not sure about things like child benefit etc..
