Housekeeper/cook..London advice needed

A good friend of mine in his late seventies is looking for a resident cook/housekeeper ....would anybody know where I could start to try and find one for him ?

Try the local Job Centre Plus for starters - its free and the vacancy can be viewed nationally on the Job Centre website.

The Lady magazine is published every Tuesday and carries ads for carers, housekeepers and nannies. Can read a copy online if you do a Google search for it. One thing I have noticed is that people don't state which part of the country they are in or how convenient local transport is and general insist on car drivers which rules a lot of people out.
