has anyone got an easy to follow cassava cake using ingretients available her in the uk? i have tried several recipes but its really not what i remembered it to be back home...

What ingredients do you use? My pinay friend here makes a good cassavas, always a hit in parties, she buys that frozen cassava at Sing Fat.

i just use the frozen grated cassava what i need is a recipe :)... i was working purely on guesswork before

might try that tonight... just one question whats the difference between coconut milk and cream?

cream I think is the thicker consistency of the coconut, maybe if thats from a real coconut and not the tinned ones, not sure really heheh.

you can get it at most pinoy stores..

In Birmingham you will get it in big Chinese shops like Sing Fat and Wing Yip. Have a look in Asian shops...go straight to the freezers you might find a cassava mix there. :)
