    i have to say this---a british guy trying to live on ESA and dreaming of 1: winning the lottery---and 2: going to the philipines---or any other non--EEA country---to find a future partner---is simply on a hiding to nothing.

    better to look a lot closer to home for a future partner--one who fully understands the implications of a life on benefits.

    Thanks I will look closer to home but is there anything wrong with having a holiday or moving to the Philippines on my own if I don't find a partner?
