Hmm ... ... guess I'm one of the few on here who's willing to openly acknowledge the truth of the matter.
Sison in fact co~founded the Communist Party of the Philippines along with the late Ninoy Aquino, in an attempt to topple Ferdinand Marcos (Snr) - leading to the declaration of Martial Law by Marcos himself, more than 30 years' ago.
is WHY one needs to delve back into Philippines' history in order to fully understand the real situation. And, to my mind, it [probably] explains why so many of the younger generation have been brought up to believe that Marcos was a tyrant when, in reality, he wasn't nearly "as 'black' as he's painted". ... 'fraid it's MAINLY been the greed of the Yellow Mafia to blame for the ruination of the country.
