Now it's widely believed the potency of, say, one pint of at this altitude is equivalent to three of the same strength on terra firma. ... something to do with cabin air pressure, is my [very basic] understanding. But whether this is little more than rumour - as opposed to actual fact - well ... ... I'm not altogether sure.
Ok ... the article I've posted focuses mainly on Nordic and Balkan Airlines' policies on alcohol. But it could - indeed, IMO, should - apply aboard flights worldwide.
