So if this goes through it would have to add an extra £500 to the spouse visa application costs?

Yes Cheekee, read it myself. It will be an extra amount payable upfront with the visa fee like in your case as well as mine FLR.

Maybe I will escape it as Jamie is applying this May, but asking for more info from Peter. Who knows how long it takes to go through and gets implemented into the immigration rules - it's anyone's guess.

Screwed again by the Government...
