So many pictures
Click click here click click there too many clicks but I can get a better picture maybe.
In today's cameras you can take up to 20 pictures in one burst so you could get 20 of the same shot, I try to take 2 maybe three then I can chose the best from them all, and with today's SD cards rather then film its so easy plus its a little lazy too.
I have just started editing my pictures from the ones I think I will want to those just a little out of focus.
Why do I take so many and I am bored and I still have another SD card to look at, that's the third one too.
It would be nice for every picture to be in focus and if someone can come up with a program that can repair pictures into proper focus well I would buy that program, I have a program that can change just a little focus for now.
Once I am ready I shall put some on here to show folks who may be interested in themLast edited by Arthur Little; 14th November 2016 at 20:57. Reason: Sorry - I inadvertently pressed Edit instead of the 'Quote' button.

Not bad at all Fred, the problem is when you are taking close ups something will always be out of focus,
Best bet is to always take two and throw the worst one away.
I shall find one of me and people can try to make me more like Brad Pitt and not his brother Sess Pitt

Focus is a function of distance. So technically cannot be 'changed'
Sharpness is a function of edge contrast. Of light and dark.
Sharpness can easily be that something 'in-focus' might appear less sharp.
Sharpness is illusion that's highlighted by creating an edge of bright & dark lines.
Focus happens when edges are narrowest. Sharpness happens when edge contrast is highest.
Not the same.
The digital capability can do many things but cannot change focus. Only Sharpness.
If you look at the detail of Steve's orginal photo that is actually in focus, it decreases in definition as
as the artificial 'sharpness' of other areas increase.
At the risk of being pedantic, the sharpness of something actually in focus can be digitally (albeit artificially) enhanced.
There's very little you can do with something that's not 'in focus' to begin with except manually add
add details not there to start with. Digital painting or if you will, which certainly takes enough expertise to be an 'artform' in itself.
Best and easiest option is to make sure you select the right lens, the right aperture (depth of field) and shutter speed when you take the photo.
Jusy my two centavos
Sorry to be so serious.
