Honeymoon
Hello,
I will be marrying my Filipina fiancee here in the UK at the end of October. She will be joining me here at the beginning of the same month, entering the UK on a fiancee settlement visa. We will live here in the UK (Well that's the plan!). We HOPE to go to Venice for our honeymoon ... now for my questions ...
How easy/difficult will it be for her to travel to Italy straight after our wedding?
What will we need to be able to do it?
Can anyone help who's had experience of something similar to this?
Thanks,
Neil

If you want to go there straight after your wedding I would say very difficult.
My wife applied for a Schengen visa through an Italian consulate last month and it took two weeks to issue the visa.
You could try to apply for a visa before you get married, but you may have difficulty doing that as your fiancee may not be able to provide enough documentation to the Embassy. It is much easy to apply for a Schengen visa once you are married.
