Where are you residing ? spouses of Belgian citizens who are in possession of a valid residency permit for the spouse's country of citizenship within the Schengen area, do not require a schengen visa to visit other Schengen agreement states.

If you are residing in the United Kingdom, which is not party to the Schengen agreement, then I assume your Belgian husband is a UK Resident, if that is the case, then I suggest you think about where you want to travel if a UK Resident and then make an application at your first point of entry to the Schengen area, each country has slightly different waiting times, somewhere from 1-3 weeks to get an appointment, around 2-3 weeks to get your passport back.

    Welcome to the forum Marianne.

You have to request a Spouse visa (which will be a Schengen one) at the Belgium Embassy in Manila (as you're in Cebu, you will have to travel there). But first, you can give them a call to know all the documents required. As Pete says, it should take 2 to 3 weeks from the time you give all the required papers and pay the visa fee (if there's one) to the Belgium Embassy (there's no fee for a French Spouse visa).

    Here is their website: http://www.diplomatie.be/manila/

Info on their Spouse visa is here: http://www.diplomatie.be/Manila/defa...tent=17&mnu=28

For you, you can begin to prepare the usual papers:
    - Passport,
    - NSO sepca copy of your marriage certificate,
    - Cenomar,
    - NBI clearance,
    - NSO sepca copy of your birth certificate,
Some documents will require the Red Ribbon (authentication by DFA and Malacanang in Manila),
    - Don't forget you will have to attend the CFO seminar too prior to departure (this can be done in Cebu)
Your husband may also calls to know the paper requirements for him.

Feel free to visit here the section European/World: Immigration/VISA Help & Information where you can have general infos on Schengen visas and ask there your specific questions.
We will try to help you.
    Best regards.
    Yves

Hello Marianne & welcome to the forum

Since you are in cebu right now you might as well call the Consulate of Belgium Cebu and ask them about your queries.
