Facebook and people
I do enjoy my time spent on facebook.
I can choose who I would like to speak to and what pictures I would like to see and I can also start a conversation with some people I like.
I have posted some pictures on there too for others to enjoy.
I like facebook.
But there is a dark side to this too.
Lots of crap from people you don't know and also lots of stupid private things that should stay private too.
Can anyone explain to me when someone puts a death on there and it's their best aunt, gran, dog, cat, budgie, and Uncle Tom Cobly and all.
Why do others press LIKE?
There are lots on there about the forthcoming elections and the language on there if you don't support their parties, well it's best to say nothing I say, or they want to call you every name under the sun.
I still like Facebook.

What I hate is all the shared posts Steve. Have people got nothing of their own to post. Better they don't post anything than all the shared rubbish. Another one that I cannot abide, and that's all the guilt trip ones. Repost if you know someone who suffered with this or died of that!!! Or post this ribbon or image if you know someone who blah blah blah!!!!!!
There is someone in my friends list who has never posted anything of themselves in the last 3 years, just shared crap. Time to remove a few I think. I love FB.....If you want your dreams to come true ...... first you have to wake up

It's good to share someone's jokes if they are very funny, but like you say, there is just too much sometimes.

I only use it to put pictures up of my daughter really, just so my family all over the country can see her grow up.
I comment on the odd occasion on friends posts, make the odd status update... Keep in touch with friends around the world... Other then that I only post what I don't mind people knowing, because although my settings are set to friends only, there is no telling who can see things really.

I try to limit myself to 15 minutes of Facebook a day. A little bit of FB is great to check up on friends and family. When you spend hours, it can bring you down. I agree with Steve about negative things getting shared. Also, political posts don't serve any purpose except to get friends and family to get upset with each other. I try to keep my posts positive and will block someone if all I see is political posts that aren't aligned with my own personal views. Funny cat videos are always good though! Too much Facebook = strained relationships, and not getting anything accomplished in your own life!

I have to have it on all day to keep saying 'Amen' to all the posts about deaths and horribly mutilated road accident victims, deformed babies, etc, shared by our dear Filipino friends.

I still love it, and you find out so much about folk on there too, talk about a double life,
