Palace Dismisses EU Threat
... "stop meddling in our affairs", a presidential spokesman tells the EU Ambassador, amidst the latter's intimidatory claims that the ongoing 'War Against Drugs' in the Philippines will adversly affect the nation's trade agreements with no fewer than 28 of the European Unions' Member States.

Well ... ...WHY else did vote to finally detach itself from European tyranny?!? Because ... more than four decades of what started out as a Trading Agreement with our continental neighbours had steadily - and stealthily - evolved into increasing interference with our centuries'~old laws!!
