Happy new year to you all

    Hello to you all
Here's wishing all a very happy new year

    It's been a few months

    Please, a question

My wife has been here almost a year now and she would like to go home to Manila for a short holiday to visit family and friends soon

As we are still waiting to fully complete her visa status and to remain here in the UK after the initial 3 years visa is up for renewal

How long can she stay in the Philippines for her holiday?

    Regards
    LG

A happy new year to you and yours my friend.

Technically there's no restrictions either during FLR period of 5 years or for subsequent ILR application.

Just for your info, the only residence restrictions come at the time of application for Naturalisation. For a spouse this would be a countback of 3 years.
Basically it's better to limit any absence from UK to 90 days each year of the final 3 years before applying for Citizenship.

    Thank you Terpe my friend

that is just what we were hoping to hear

Also can you direct me to the critical list of the rules governing the second part of my wife's visa to remain after the 1st 30 months?

    Regards

Happy new year lloyd, hows your wife enjoying hampton and kingston, hope she has made friends,i saw several filipinas in kingston shopping in the bentall centre over christmas

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
