Inguess cebu-pacific have ended their fun flights then? But there again some trolley dolley doing karaoke and dancing doesnt cut the mustard when your thousands of miles from home

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.

It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

I've heard nothing good about that airline, to be honest.

Let's hope Mr.Duterte can spare some time off from flapping his mouth, to sort something out for these unfortunate OFWs... as if their lives weren't tough enough already.

I think it was around 2 or 3 years ago, every single one of their flights was delayed, every single one,i waited in cebu maybe 5 hours once for a flight to Davao, delayed by FIVE hours and i was once diverted to manila from Zamboanga instead of getting my flight to davao as they found a foetus in the toilet not a good airline, but better than the alternatives

Sorry to say, but considering the slapdash way so many things are treated/maintained/organised in the Phils, I'd be hesitant about boarding one of their planes anyway.

I know the ferries have a frightening accident record... but at least I can bloody swim... flying I'm not so good at !

So the plane went technical and it took 24 hours to fix. I can't really comment on their overall quality and service, but what is described in this article is nothing unusual. I'd rather this than them flying with a fault. DXB is an OK place to be stranded too. However, the real question is whether they looked after the passengers (there is a hotel inside the terminal for example).

Interestingly (well slightly), this exact plane left Manila for Dubai while we were there waiting for our Emirates flight to DXB (we are now in Dubai for a few days before flying back to BHX).

Another not really related topic - our Emirates crew saved the life of an old guy who collapsed. Guy was in toilet forever, crew opened door, he fell out onto floor. 45 minutes of pumping as there was a v faint pulse, doctor found after 10 mins brought him 'back' but crew kept him alive. Excellent work. We temporarily diverted to Yangon (saw on Skymap), but later re-routed back towards DXB which surprised me, but he seemed to be back with us, sitting up and breathing etc.

Trust me, Ryanair and Easyjet treat you worse in this kind of situation.
