King of the roads
Many years ago the kings of the road was the HGV driver, plus the national coach drivers too I would say, burning up and down the motorway's night and day.
But how that has changed.
Today's drivers just don't have the time for any courtesy, take this week for instance, going to work and driving down a busy main road and wanting to turn right, the traffic coming towards me in nose to tail and trying to turn right you just have to wait, you can be sure that a bus driver will always block you, and he will just sit there looking straight ahead
Many years ago you just did not block any junction,
Now breath Steve, that's better

I agree Steve.
Sorry to have to say it, because people will say I'm a 'sexist', but I can't remember when a woman driver 'flashed' me to let me through, out of courtesy. It never seems to enter their heads.
I'm talking as someone who drove for a living for 45 years... all categories of vehicles.
