    Nation AGAIN Divided ...

... after Westminster MPs overwhelmingly backed renewal of Trident nuclear warheads by 472 votes to 117 ... while, in Scotland - where the weapons are located - the only member in favour, happened to be [somewhat significantly] Tory Scottish Secretary, David Miundell.

I don't know why there is so much opposition to Trident. Do we want to be walked over by everyone like we have been with Europe? We voted out of that, the Scottish voted to stay with the UK. New sub's means jobs, lots of Scottish jobs too.

Everyone bitches and moans about everything here in the UK, worried about offending someone, others getting something that they think they deserve, bitter jealousy and butthurt when decisions don't go their way. Man up to the democratic system, once we vote, live with it.

Thats the problem Steve, many who voted did not get what they wanted so they will keep on trying until its what they want,
Its a funny world we live in, it amazes me when people say they want to be a free nuclear zone , so if we live in that zone does it mean that any fall out will stop coming our way,
Always better to have a big stick as a warning then no stick at all,
