Filipinos 3rd lowest paid in APEC – WB data
Well probably no surprise there, with only Vietnam and Papua New Guinea getting less out of the 21 Asia Pacific economies.
Some very interesting numbers on both salaries and on income tax levels too in the report.

Pinoy politicians sell their peopl off as cheap slave labour,then herals them as modern day heros when they remmit their earnings back home,shamfull practice to be honest.

Quite agree Tawi.
I would also seriously doubt the accuracy of any stats produced by Phils govt.
Outside of the cities, I reckon most would be classed as 'unemployed', or at best 'self-employed' by most international standards.
