    Thumbs up Passport for child

    just got back from philippines and while i was out there my daughter passport arrived it toke just over 10 months finally got it and now can apply my wife visa , so anybody waiting for there child passport its a long waiting game cat and mouse but it will arrive just keep bugging them every month asking and asking and i submitted more docs then they ask for with many pics too

    Yes, it's a disgrace that it takes so long but certainly 10 months seems about average based on what we know to date.

    Let's hope the process can be significantly improved for future applicants.

    Is this a first British Passport?
    Ours took 3 weeks. But there was a mistake with her name. Passport Office's fault, so we sent it back with a covering letter and got a new one four days later..... Excellent service.

    Thanks for the helpful info though.

    My baby son is due (in the Phils) next month, so that will be something I'll have to attend to, sooner rather than later.

    Yes I can imagine, I wasn't sure... that's why I was surprised it took so long when ours only took three weeks.
