Glad you enjoy Maggie's image so much - you're turning Joe!

Well everyone used to shout "Maggie out out out" and now she's in the Pink News

reminds me of a time - the year after she became Prime Minister - I was one of a group of local government workers from Tayside who travelled to Liverpool in order to take part in an en masse, nationwide protest demonstration organised by NALGO ... and led by no lesser a personage than Labour's distinguised Tony Benn.

All along the route of the march - which ended at the city's famous Sefton Park - banners were held aloft ... to the increasingly vociferous strains of "Maggie, Maggie, Maggie ... Out, Out, Out" ... ... to no effect, of course, since she went on to 'reign supreme' for a further decade ... culminating in her (many would assert!) traitorous removal - by her own party in 1990.
