Bought the Hudl 1 last Christmas and got a twenty quid refund from Tesco for a delivery screw up. No complaints other than sometimes loses a seemingly strong WiFi signal and you have to go into settings wifi and click on the connection ie Sky in our case to get it running again. Annoying! I'll have to try and get onto Tesco about it might tell 'em not fit for purpose and demand a Mk2

That wi-fi glitch has only happened once to me, so not too bad.

This tablet has already had two trips to the Phils, during which it was a godsent, and another coming up.

I wouldn't want anything as big as the new model though....which appears to offer little more in actual performance. May as well buy a cheap laptop.

Oh, and when HDMI is connected to TV, it keeps 'disconnecting', so virtually unusable. Hopefully they've fixed that on the new ones.

HDMI to TV was the major reason for me to buy......
That disconnection problem was the main reason I took mine back for a refund.

Graham - have a look here - altering the resolution sorted it on ours

I think the new model had faster CPU but not studied it. I was thinking of getting one to put movies on to watch in taxi. Did like the 10" 'Samsung Tab S', I think it was, but it's Ł400.00

Fantastic picture etc, but a lot of money!

Les, I think you'll find even the original model quite fast enough.

Yes, but this is still cheap for a tablet - and if it's a faster beast then good

I want a bigger screen as it will just be used in the car.

Working well from the HDMI too, after altering the resolution and installing task killer app. (only need to do this for streaming movies, not when using tv as monitor).
