'QUOTES' Advice
When wanting to reply to a post, you have two choices;
1) Bottom right of the post, a QUOTE button.
Using this will result in a copy of that post appearing in your post so people know what you are replying to in case the thread is about numerous subjects.
However, if the quoted post is large, repeating it is very annoying to everyone, as they have to scroll for miles to read the actual message. It also costs folk on dial-up in the Phil a fortune.
So if you need to quote more than two lines......edit what is between the QUOTE tags. IE

Next to the QUOTE button, on the right, is another button: Multi-Quote.....clicking this in say 3 of the posts in a thread will QUOTE all THREE in your post. Vey effective for replying to numerous posts in one, rather than starting 3 new posts.
2) Use the QUICK REPLY at the bottom of the page for a quick answer, or click GO ADVANCED for all the additional options, and a bigger window.
Extra Info.
In the EDIT boxes in the top right, you will see ABC, this is a plugin spell checker and is FREE.
Next to that are arrows. Use these to lengthen/shorten the editing window.
And finally, the last one is A/A ....... use this one to switch between WYSIWYG mode, and normal text mode.Keith Driscoll - Administrator
