Claiming back flight money from credit card ?
We were due to fly out to Cebu next wednesday,... I have got a wee bit of a dickie heart rythm, and lo and behold I have got a terrible dose of the flu. This effects my 'firing rythm' and will not be able to go as my 'man flu' usually lasts a week or more.
As our flights are 'non refundable',...can I put a claim against the credit card which I used to buy them ??
Any suggestions /
Jonny

Sounds like a insurance job to me. You can try but it is very doubtful. Did it say the flight cost was refundable when you booked it? Read the small print on your intenery.

I wouldn't think the CC company would entertain it but you might be OK if your travel insurance includes cancellation cover
