you just need to apply for any jobs that you see advertised but you may need to take some more exams and tests .There is a freeze on recruitment at the moment as my daughter is a staff nurse in birmingham she says they are still cutting back ,but you will still see the odd vacancy now and again .go online and browse the internet and type in nurse jobs in your area and see what comes up .all the best in your hunt for a job

This UK based company may be able to help you. A filipino friend of my wife works for them so they are "on the level". http://jobconnections.co.uk/

My Filipina ex-wife wanted to become a nurse. She had no qualifications whatsoever...not even Phils High School Diploma, as too poor to finish school.
Anyway she studied an 'Access' course for degree in nursing, part-time at first, at the university here in York.
She eventually gained her degree (B.Nurs).
Try looking here for more info'.

Follow up question...if ill be taking a course of assistant practitioner here in the Uk will it lead me to be a nurse or something.

Not sure what an assistant practioner is and i doubt it would lead to you being a nurse in the UK.
contact http://jobconnections.co.uk/ and talk to them as they are experts on recruiting nurses from overseas and nurse training here in the UK. They are also registered immigration advisors.
