Planning my next mission to the Phils

Hopefully in February for three weeks.

    1. Arrive in Manila

    2. Either stay overnight in Manila or catch flight to Taglibaran and onto Panglao Island.

    3. Back to Taglibaran to catch boat south to Siquijor Island.

    4. From Siquijor Island to Sulimon Island via Dumaguete by boat rides.

    5. From Sulimon Island it's back to Dumaguete for a couple of boat trips via Cebu to the north east of Cebu Island to the Camotes Islands.

    6. Back to the mainland by boat to Danao then travelling by bus to the north west of Cebu Island and onto Bantayan Island.

    7. Get the boat to the mainland from Bantayan Island then bus to Cebu then flight to Angeles. Stay in Pampanga for a bit then bus back to Manila for flight back home.

Apart from Panglao has anyone been to any of the other islands mentioned?

My wife visited Bantayan many times. Her mom is from the port just across the water in St Remegio. Her moms employer has property there and they holiday there frequently. Her mom is the house cook.

    What's up with Skegness ?

    Keep us posted.
I'll probably end up sitting on one of those grotty white coral sand beaches around Xmas, with nowt to do but drink San Migs and watch gorgeous young ladies strolling past.

We try to get a few days on Boracay each year off season but the worlds most beautiful island seems to be losing its charm, its totally overdeveloped now.
Still a great place to visit if you have never been but we will give Boracay a miss and go back to Panglao this year.
The mystic island of Siquijor is lovely,an easy ferry ride from Dumaguete. There are some great beaches and resorts in San Juan and a lot to do and see. Its becoming more popular so go sooner rather than later

    Nice pictures

We been to Coron...we loved it although, our life is different now..no longer just the 2 of us ....never to Boracay though....we will be going there in November...this time with 2 babies under 18 months...I want my wife to experience a International resort unlike a handful of Nipas and A palm stuck in the middle type of resort.

Overcrowded or busy its got top hotels and that's what we want this time around...we only gonna suffer it for 3 nights anyway horses for courses I guess

I would not want to be that close to a snake that size !

Leen, I think your partner and I may be related.

We seem to bear an uncanny resemblance ! (Well, when I was bit younger).
