Do you really need CFO sticker for Spouse Visa

My husband is attending the seminar today at CFO Cebu and apparently you can't get the CFO sticker until the validity start of the visa. Now the problem is, he's leaving on the day the of the validity start and a morning flight as well. Do you think he'll be able to come without the sticker? He' had the seminar though. Thanks

I dont think he can leave without a CFO sticker. That is the main requirement of the immigration before you leave the country for spouse and fiancee/fiance of foreign nationals.

I stand to be corrected, but I think that as long as he gets the Seminar Certificate it might be possible to have the passport sticker/stamp at NAIA airport.
Please give them a phone call on 879-8565 to check.
The desk is open from 5am to 12 midnight every day.

When you've called can you inform us the result?

Hope he goes tru because Ive seen a lady being refused to depart the PI because she got no sticker but she got certifcate when I was leaving the PI last month. Fingers crossed for him.

terpe is correct there is CFO booth in NAIA (Manila) and he can settle it there

He was informed at the Seminar that he will be able to get sticker in NAIA as the CFO office opens at 5am so yes hopes he gets everything in time. Because his flight is 10am that same day. But will definitely let you guys know how it goes, thanks
