Heads up on Emirates world wide flight sale
My favorite airline have launched a worldwide sale...wish I'd known this last week when I booked an Emirates flight to BKK
I know they are more expensive than other airlines, but it's worth paying the extra for

Agreed Terpe, I always prefer flying with them, their service is second to none and have a very modern fleet. Plus they fly from about 6 regional UK airports to Dubai, so no need to trek down to London

Good luck Mari, glad I could help
Don't forget you need a Tourist Visa for UAE, I'm not sure of the cost as I've never stopped over there. 3 hours in the airport is enough for me

I think three hours will be enough for me too.. I just intended to purchase proper gold jewelries in the airport

the Jewelry Quarter in Birmingham is the best place for gold in the UK. Some really good skilled craftsmen work there making some good be-spoke one off pieces plus the usual array of off the shelf stuff at decent prices

Back off topic Yes I agree Ded, in a previous life I bought a load of stuff from there over the years for my ex, had it all made as one off pieces, very good value and top quality.
