What documents need to be authenticated
We are at last filing for our fiancee visa, we will providing originals of all the supporting documents expect my passport which I have had authenticated by a lawyer to send. The confusion is on what documents need to be authenticated if we are providing originals are there any other documents that need authentication please.
Many thanks as always

just the passport , then try to send all originals, but when sending back statements block out your account and sort code numbers just in case, but send a letter explaining why you have done that, for security reasons, but add your phone number if they need to contact you, hope that helps

I'd just add when we submitted our docs in particular my passport I was told it wouldn't need certifying so I didn't and it was accepted.
I sent no original docs at all - everything was scanned, emailed and printed locally.
Whilst I don't wish to contradict any advice I feel letting you know what we did may help.
Wish you good luck.
