    just curious!!!!pls enlighten me.....

    how long will it be after I am married in the UK will I be able to apply for a work permit allowing to work?......

    price to apply from fiencee to marriage visa is £550 by post and about 600 approx in person it can take around 1 day to 1 month this is only a guide time as not all same hope it helps

    straight away you could work, just apply for your insurance number first then try to find work

    If you get married in the UK you then make application for FLR (Further Leave to Remain)
    Once this has been granted you are allowed to work. You do not need any kind of permission such as work permit.

    If you arrive into the UK as a spouse (married in Pinas) you will already be on FLR and will be allowed to work right away.

    When applying for FLR from within the UK you can either apply by post or you can apply in person at a PEO (Public Enquiry Office)

    Applications by post normally take 2 weeks - 7 weeks for 90% of cases and the cost is £550
    Applications in person at a PEO are decided same day but with a cost premuim. The cost in this case is £850

    its ok just to say one other thing with amount it cost to get here starting work without correct visa as married what allows you to work will only end up with trouble you dont need as ukba checking premises of work you dont want to get court out it would be better asking ukba first good luck
