Pantomime cancelled (warning possible racial connotations)
They had to cancel the pantomime 'Jack & the Beanstalk', in Birmingham, Oldham, Bradford, Burnley, Leicester & Luton:
because the Giant couldn't smell any Englishmen.Last edited by Dedworth; 21st January 2011 at 21:03. Reason: Political Correctness

When I read the thread title I thought it was going to be about Blair being bought before the judge in relation to taking our Sons and Daughters to war, wrongly. Alas I was wrong. Im sure Dedworth is some sort of recruitment officer for UKIP of the National Front ? These racial over tones are getting some what tiresome. Just my opinion I only mention this because these posts goes to all 4 corners of the globe. I for one, dont want others thinking we are all just a bunch of bigots. I can assure most of us British do not think like this. No offence intended to anyone!

I agree with Gwapito, we all know what Dedworth is like, but it is not very welcoming to visitors to this site.

I wasn't aware that these people from all corners of the globe are familiar with Birmingham, Oldham, Bradford, Burnley, Leicester & Luton, along with the lines from Jack & The Beanstalk pantomime
However for the sake of good order and political correctness I will amend the threads title.

Point taken Les All I was saying is what our filipina's will be thinking. Ive lightened up now . Whats got to be remembered is, all this talk of foreigners taking over our green and pleasant land is well, a bit over bearing reading about it on this 'haven' day in, day out. Yes, we have choice not to read.

I have to agree with Gwapito and Sim, skirting the boundaries and calling it humour might be fine as a one off but it does not feel that way when there is a constant theme to the posts.
Yes it is getting tiresome.

This is the joke thread, lets please keep it for that and retain our British sense of humour.
Skirting the boundaries my ar$e, our country is in a constant downward theme which needs addressing .
We've heard it before and we'll hear it again the unspoken "racist" jibe. You appear to construe any negativity about foreigners, foreign criminals, so called asylum seekers, alien cultures etc as "racism". Unfortunately you're a bit out of the loop as despite Bottler Browns famous "Bigot" banana skin that policy was withdrawn from Labours mantra when they belatedly realised the long suffering British electorate had sussed them out.
