fiance visa help!
hello
My fiance handed all the necessary requirements for Fiance visa last January 2010 through the Immigration Volunteer Advisory. Now it is November. Does the application took this long?
Last August they ask a machine copy of my passport which i send right away. Am i close to get it soon? Oh please i need some opinions. Thank you

welcome to the forum ynwa
i should say that 10 months is too long for visa processing... on the other hand, its good to know that they asked for the machine copy of your passport, that means its on active file... why dont you call the embassy to check on the status? stay put, as more knowledgeable members will give you more solid advise...
good luck!

Hi ynwa, a warm welcome to the forum
Are you located in the Philippines?
10 months is far too long. When did the application for Fiancee Visa get submitted?
Was there specific reasons that you did not apply direct?

hi Terpe,
Yes I am in Philippines. The application was submitted January 2010. The reason was that, my fiance thought its m0re faster with the IVS which is opposite :(
Does anybody know if i can submit my application in Cebu Consular Office in case i will re start the application in the Philippines?

Maybe you will need to check if you already have the original
application submitted.
