Only you can make that decision. We don't know any facts. Do yo think you know eachother well enough to spend the rest of your lives together?
If you want your dreams to come true ...... first you have to wake up

Welcome to the board. Can I ask, on your status, it says that you are married and also your board name, so are you asking the question as you feel it was too soon?
Only you will know the answer to it though, if you are happy and in love, then if it was 10months or 10 years, as long as you are together, is that not what is important?
On a side note---- earlier this year, I was talking to this elderly lady, she said that she met her late husband on a blind date, the second date he asked her to marry him, they married within 5 months and lived a happy life until he passed away, which if I remember correctly was 50 years later. So it shows, that when you meet the right person, you will know.

Hello mrs g, serrano,
I think as long the relationship u started is genuine, trusting and true. Why not go farther, Just make sure of your decision, its a commitment for a lifetime....
My fiance knew each other in dec 2009, met in June 2010, and intend to marry in feb 2011. We had a open and constant communication.

Hi Mrs.G Serrano, Welcome to the forum.
Everyone is different. If two people believe it's the right thing to do then go ahead.
Important is love, trust and honesty.

One of the guys who worked in my office had been with his g/f for 8 years. They lived together. Nice couple.
Within 3 months of getting married they decided to split up. Have no real idea why.
After 6 months of separation (and splitting up most of their property including the house) they are now back together.
I heard they are now happier than ever.
It's a funny world!

We had been chatting on line for a couple of months, although because of my wife's poor English, that did not amount to much in reality.
When I went to RP in January 2006 I had a short list. My wife was the first and having met her, I decided I did not need to meet anyone else.
We married on 24th March 2006.
Every day I know, more and more, that I / we made the right decision.

... that's the key! Be completely open and honest with one another.
And make sure you communicate regularly ... keeping a record of all correspondence as well as photographic evidence of the two of you together - to substantiate proof of a genuine relationship when the time is ripe to apply for a UK Settlement Visa.

as long as you have met in real and know each other well enough, your heart will tell you if its right, but if you have to stop and think about it, then maybe you need to understand each other more

Hi Mrs.G Serrano,
I met my wife in the Philippines and knew she was the one when I first saw her
It wasn't just how lovely she looked, after talking with her I sat down and was shaking in my seat.
It was very strange
I knew she would be my wife and that we would have children, we have a baby daughter now.
We got married when I went back less than six months later.

I agree Arthur, I also think that your command of the English language helps many people on this forum also
This is beneficial to Filipinas and to English alike.
I am not on here much these days with a gruelling work schedule but it is good to see English typed with such aplomb
