What a story!
What a Sister!
(I finished reading the story about 20 minutes ago. I realised I had to do something very important before I made this post. I had to phone my own Sister.)
Good luck with the Visas (waiting for decisions is agony)
God Bless you and all your family.

Yes, good luck with the visa applications, very pleased the teeth are out and he is able to eat better. Do you need another brother Rosie ? what a lucky guy your brother is to have you looking out for him, is your middle name Angel...

Firstly, thank you so much to Simon, Lordna and HarryT for your kind words and good wishes
I am delighted to let you all know that my two nephews short term visitors visas to the UK have been APPROVED!!
Flights have been booked and they will be arriving at Christmas time! It will be a VERY emotional time for everyone, least of all my brother who will no doubt be very confused and shocked but I will do everything I can to help them all

It was my brother's birthday today and I always visit him on his special day. I was able to take him out for a meal at lunchtime. He struggled to sit still for long, also to unwrap the presents I'd bought for him but I know he was in a good mood as he actually asked me two questions! That really made my day as it very rarely happens!
God bless him

Good to learn you'd a nice meal with your brother today, Rosie ... I'm sure that, despite his restlessness when sitting for lengthy periods and, even though there was little verbal contact between the two of you, it's obviously made his birthday all the more special, ... the very fact that his loving sister (with whom he has such a close bond) was there to share it with him. God Bless.

Delighted that my nephew and his mum received their British Citizenship this week! I went to the ceremony on Thursday and watched proudly as oaths were taken and their naturalisation certificates were awarded.
What a lovely ceremony it was too with so many different nationalities taking part. I felt so proud to sing our national anthem at the end, especially since I knew the words
It was such a shame that my brother couldn't be there but at least some good has come out of his illness
