Why would anyone, in his right frame of mind, give £100 to his "english" girl friend...???
It would only go on pints of beer, kebabs, body piercings, tattos, etc, etc.....

Depends on what is it is needed for and whether I felt it was deserved.

I've never know an English woman ever want to spend such a little amount. I mean, one pair of shoes and a skirt is well over £100!!!!

In an ideal relationship - both people should know how their combined income stands - £100 means nothing if you both know that you have paid off your mortgage, kids have left home and you both have tidy pension and little outgoings...but if you both know that money is tight and he/she still asks for £100...when they know there is a big bill that needs paying...then the fault is with the person asking the question...not the person refusing...
Sharing the financial status means that he or she knows when it is sensible to ask for spare cash...

I think the key is in sharing the knowledge about your combined financial status - if you both know that there are big bills that must be paid then neither will ask for the £100 for something less important...as a couple these things are better shared ... then nobody needs to refuse as the question is never asked...
hmm... maybe that is why I find myself single...

I agree! It all depends on how much money you both have and if they really need it. If you have plenty of cash, then no problem or if they really need it, then you will do what you can to help, but if you don't have lots of spare cash and they don't need it, then maybe say what about a smaller amount or can you wait a little while? I would never ask for cash, and even if I did, it would be something that is really needed and I would say what I needed it for.

I think a lot of English women would go to Primark/George at Asda, spend maybe 20 on a few bits and bobs, and the rest would go on White Lightning, chips, kebabs, burgers and pizza.
I don't actually know any Filipina ladies, but from what I think I am learning is I would guess maybe spend the same 20 on clothes, and tuck away the 80 for a rainy day, or spend it on nice stuff for the house.
Not that I'm bitter and twisted about past experiences with English women of course.....

To all women,
If your boyfriend/husband asks for a £100, would you give it?
