Fiancee Visa application process - help please?
Ive done some searching on this so forgive me if its obvious. I'm not normally this dense but I can't quite get the application process straight.
Is it :-
Pay at a bank, get the receipt
apply online
schedule appointment or walk in.
Or do you have to apply first, then pay?
I'm tying myself in knots trying to get everything prepped for my fiancees application. I THINK Ive got everything covered, but its getting ever harder to read detail
Also - is there any way of paying from the UK or am I going to have to use bd Western Union again?

yes you can do either of the two options being mentioned by miss estherboax and miss Sophie and you have to pay it on the accredited banks set by the embassy. You cant pay it here in the uk sadly to say

make a appointment first after you have the date, make the payment at the bank to clear for that date and make sure what the rate will be for that date as it can change.

Here is what I did,
I made appointment online let say 1 week ago
Make sure before 48 hours of your appointment time you already pay the visa fee, because it need to be received your payment at british embassy account before they accept your application at VFS
Its better to pay in cash, but manager's cheque will do of course, get the receipt from the bank and bring it during submitting the doc
Hard to be walk in applicants, make appointment online

yes 2 option will do, but to share my experience..first I have paid visa fee by using Manager's Check (BDO Bank) then schedule an appointment...the earliest available appointment was after 2 weeks so what I did ...even I was 4 hours drive away in Manila I grab the opportunity as a Walk IN applicant coz I worried the visa fee may change within two weeks time so to avoid hassle I got the chance as walk in applicant and was submitted just only after 4 days after I got the Mcheck and then I cancelled my schedule appointment (online) so the slot can be provided for other applicant.
hope it helps
So I guess schedule an appointment first before paying visa so you will be able to know the earliest possible time to submit it
